Our 3kg gas bottle holders suit mid-sized camping cylinders up to a maximum diameter of 260mm. Measure your bottle at its widest point before ordering. If you're carrying a 4kg, 4.5kg or Swap & Go cylinder, choose one of our 4kg gas bottle holders instead.

Where can I mount a 3kg gas bottle holder?

You have three options. The Base & Rear Mount bracket bolts flat to a ute tray, canopy floor or toolbox, or upright against a rear canopy wall. The Top Mount hangs under a ute tray or from a canopy lip, making it a space-saving under tray gas bottle holder. Or bolt either holder to our Spare Tyre Gas Bottle Mount to carry your gas on the rear wheel carrier.

Can I mount a gas bottle on my spare wheel?

Yes. Our 4x4 Spare Tyre Gas Bottle Mount straps to most standard 4WD rear spare tyres with three heavy-duty ratchet straps, and your 3kg gas bottle holder bolts straight onto it. It frees up canopy and drawer space and keeps your gas within easy reach at camp. The spare tyre mount is sold separately.

Is the 3kg gas bottle holder lockable?

Yes. Every 3kg gas bottle holder has a lockable stainless steel over-centre latch, so your cylinder stays secure from theft while mounted outside your vehicle. The strap is reversible for left or right-hand latching.

Will my gas bottle rattle on corrugated roads?

No. Each holder is fitted with rubber inserts and pinch-welds that stop metal-on-metal contact, so your bottle stays quiet and scuff-free, even on long outback corrugations.
